"L´Hort de les Canyes" at Jaume Bertrán's Tayaimgut winery is the estate where you will find the Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon grapes used to make this extraordinary red. It is entirely produced by hand, from picking right through to the end of the wine making process.

2004 was a year in which the grapes ripened fully, giving a wine which is aromatic and well-rounded in the mouth. Carrying the Penedès denomination, the wine was aged 12 months in separate French oak casks for each variety until November, when the Merlot and Cabernet were put together. 5,789 bottles were made.
